Beihai port handles 35,400 TEU in 5 months, overall tonnage up 11.3pc

BEIHAI, a port of southwest China's Beibu Gulf port cluster, lifted 35,400 TEU from January to May, remaining at the same level as in the same period last year.
In this period, the port's throughput tonnage grew 11.34 per cent to 7.1 million tonnes. Foreign trade cargo weighed 2.71 million tonnes, up 14.78 per cent.
