MEMBERS of the G6 shipping Alliance - APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai, MOL, NYK and OOCL - have unveiled their proposed service expansion into the Asia-North America west coast and transatlantic trade lanes,

Subject to regulatory approval, the combined 17 services are scheduled to start in the second quarter.

G6 members will market these services individually, as they do today, with a proposed expansion offering 29 services covering all three major east-west trade lanes.

"Further, each of the G6 Alliance members will be able to offer improved port-pair connections compared to their previous products," said the press release.

The port rotations for the proposed 12 Asia-North America west coast services are as follows:

South East Asia 1 (SE1): Singapore, Shenzhen-Chiwan/Shekou, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles, Manzanillo/Mexico, Lazaro Cardenas (only APL and Hapag-Lloyd are participating in Manzanillo and Lazaro Cardenas port calls), Los Angeles, Yokohama, Kaohsiung and back to Singapore.

South East Asia 2 (SE2): Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Oakland, Hong Kong and back to Laem Chabang.

South East Asia 3 (SE3): Port Klang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Shenzhen-Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Busan, Shanghai-Waigaoqiao, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian and back to Singapore.

South China 1 (SC1): Xiamen, Shenzhen-Chiwan/Shekou/ Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Kaohsiung and back to Xiamen.

South China 2 (SC2): Shenzhen-Dachan Bay, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles, Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Hong Kong and back to Dachan Bay.

Central China 1 (CC1): Shanghai-Waigaoqiao, Kwangyang, Busan, Los Angeles, Oakland, Busan, Kwangyang and back to Shanghai.

Central China 2 (CC2): Ningbo, Shanghai-Waigaoqiao, Los Angeles and back to Ningbo.

Central China 3 (CC3): Qingdao (APL only), Xingang, Busan, Yokohama, Los Angeles, Oakland, Dutch Harbour (APL only), Yokohama, Busan, Naha (APL only) and back to Qingdao.

Central China 4 (CC4): Shanghai-Waigaoqiao), Ningbo, Los Angeles, Oakland and back to Shanghai.

North Pacific 1 (NP1): Singapore, Laem Chabang, Shenzhen-Dachan Bay, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Vancouver, Tacoma, Seattle, Busan, Kaohsiung and back Singapore.

North Pacific 2 (NP2): Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Kaohsiung, Shanghai, Busan, Tacoma, Seattle, Vancouver, Yokohama, Busan, Kwangyang and back to Hong Kong.

North Pacific 3 (NP3): Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai-Yangshan, Busan, Vancouver, Tacoma, Vancouver, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe and back to Qingdao.

The port rotations for the proposed five transatlantic services are:

Atlantic Express 1 (AX1): UK port to be confirmed, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk and back to the UK port yet to be confirmed.

Atlantic Express 2 (AX2): Southampton, Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Le Havre, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans, Charleston and back to Southampton.

Atlantic Express 3 (AX3): Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Southampton, Charleston, Port Everglades, Houston, Savannah, Norfolk and back to Antwerp.

Pacific Atlantic 1 (PA1): Shanghai (to be confirmed), Busan, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Oakland, Los Angeles, Balboa (to be confirmed), Panama Canal, Manzanillo/Panama, Savannah, Norfolk, New York, Halifax, Southampton, Antwerp, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Halifax, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Manzanillo/Panama, Panama Canal, Los Angeles, Oakland, Yokohama and back to Shanghai.
