It is reported that, Seth pan company (Seaspan) recently signed a for a five-year releasing contract for 4 ships built in new Yangtze river as well as the jiangsu Yangtze xin, which can hold 10000 standander containers, also enlarged the alternative ships held at yangzijiang. According to the container ship owners, the leasing contact has optional 2 more valid years, which worth $130 million.

   At the same time, the company has renegotiated the terms of the contract with yangzijiang to add another 4 10000 teu alternative vessel on the basis of the originalcontact .This means that Seth pan will choose to perform up to six alternative contract of 10000 teu or 14000 teu ship.If all the above alternative vessels workl, so far in 2011 the owner company and its branches in the Yangtze river will amount to total 27 warships.
